As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in San Francisco, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a highly visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and deliver strong customer service and communication for staff and visitors.

- Provide customer service to visitors and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and interior areas for unusual conditions, reporting maintenance concerns and/or suspicious activity through established communication channels.
- Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
- Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
- Have 1+ years' law enforcement experience or 2+ years' security supervisor or manager experience or 3+ years' security experience.
- Have an armed guard card or license.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
