Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a CWA Access Control Journeyman located in the San Francisco Bay Area. The CWA Access Control Journeyman is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing access control systems while adhering to safety and security protocols. Additional tasks include wiring and cabling, performing system upgrades, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies. The role requires effective communication with clients and team members to meet project deadlines and provide excellent service.
Qualifications- Knowledge and experience in Access Control Systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in wiring, cabling, and system integration
- Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations relevant to access control
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve technical issues effectively
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with clients and colleagues
- Prior experience in security systems or facility services preferred
- Relevant certifications in access control or electronic security systems are a plus
