Job Title: Executive Protection Agent

Job Type: Full time, with full benefits

Compensation: $145,000 minimum annual compensation

FLSA Status: Non‑exempt

Schedule: 7 day on / 7 day off rotation, 12‑hour shifts

This unarmed Executive Protection Agent alternates between executive protection responsibilities and driving duties. The role requires domestic and international travel, operation in fast‑paced environments, and interaction with high‑profile public figures. Ideal candidates have prior experience supporting C‑suite executives, strong problem‑solving skills, independence, reliability, and sound critical thinking. Experience on an embedded team serving a single primary client is required, with military and police experience preferred.

• Ensure the overall safety and security of designated Principals and their property
• Monitor multiple security systems (alarms, cameras) and act on security risks
• Control access to properties and maintain security logs for guests, service personnel, and vendors
• Drive Principals to various venues and off‑site assignments
• Maintain and operate equipment (vehicles, medical supplies, communications devices)
• Maintain professional appearance and communicate with Principals, staff, coworkers, and vendors using a customer‑service approach
• Adapt to tasks beyond traditional security operations
• Interact with children, if necessary
• Demonstrate on‑spot critical thinking and improvisation with strong emotional intelligence
• Engineer desired outcomes in social settings
• Submit to pre‑employment, post‑accident, and random drug testing as required
• Work shifts that include days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
• Travel domestically and internationally as required
• Provide close protection at venues, events, business meetings, and personal trips
• Perform tasks around the Principal’s property as needed
• Maintain a positive attitude in all situations and conduct oneself professionally
• Conduct advance work for routes, venues, and travel trips
• Write detailed reports with proficient writing skills
• Coordinate with Principal’s staff and outside personnel for seamless operations
• Maintain physical fitness for long periods of standing, running, swimming, hiking, and other physically taxing activities
• Engage responsibly with an active threat against the Principal
• Perform defensive tactics to deescalate or engage threats as necessary
• Submit expense receipts and clock in/out for shifts

• CA BSIS Security Guard license
• Valid United States Driver’s License
• Current Passport with at least six months validity
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification for Adults, Children, and Infants

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
• Certification from a recognized EP school (may be supplemented with 2+ years of relevant industry experience)
• Graduation from a certified driving school (preferred, may be supplemented with experience)
• Military or law‑enforcement experience
• Proficiency in social media collection tools for protective intelligence
• Prior RST experience
• Training in defensive tactics, counter‑surveillance/surveillance detection, and covert protection
• Active First Responder, Paramedic, or EMT certifications
• Regular activity in outdoor pursuits (mountain biking, hiking, ocean sports)
• California CCW permit

• Strong understanding of security camera systems, smartphones, communications, and collaboration apps
• Team‑player with excellent collaborative communication skills
• Drug‑free; must pass ongoing drug screening
• Specific training related to this detail will be provided upon hire

• Patrol property and access areas quickly
• Capable of capturing and detaining individuals if necessary
• Prolonged periods sitting (5+ hours) monitoring surveillance equipment
• Prolonged standing (4‑5+ hours) and ability to lift 50 pounds
