About the Golden State Storm
The Golden State Storm is the newest franchise in the Women’s National Football Conference (WNFC) and the first women’s professional tackle football team in the San Francisco Bay Area. Launching our inaugural season in 2026, we are also debuting a professional flag football squad. We are more than a team; we are a movement rooted in equity, power, and community, dedicated to empowering the next generation of female athletes.
The Opportunity
We are looking for motivated, high-energy Sales Professionals to help us build the financial foundation of the Storm. This is an ideal role for someone passionate about sports marketing and equity in women's athletics who wants to leverage their existing network or build a new one.
This is a volunteer, part-time position. However, to reward your success, we offer a 15% commission on the gross value of any cash sponsorship deal you bring in.
Note: This is a 1099 independent contractor arrangement. We do not offer a base salary, W2 employment, or health benefits.
Key Responsibilities- Prospecting: Identify and research local, regional, and national brands whose values align with the mission of women's professional football and community empowerment.

- Deal Structuring: Work with team leadership to customize sponsorship packages, including jersey branding, stadium signage at Laney Field, digital media assets, and game-day activations.
- Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for your secured sponsors, ensuring all deliverables are met and the relationship remains strong.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a clean record of outreach and follow-ups to ensure a professional representation of the Storm brand.
- Experience: Proven track record in sales, business development, or fundraising. Experience in sports sponsorship is a major plus but not required.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You must be comfortable cold-calling and pitching in person.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: You are a self-starter who doesn't need a manager to tell you to pick up the phone. You are motivated by the "win" and the 15% payout.

- Professionalism: You represent the Storm. We require high integrity, punctuality, and a polished professional presence.
