Position: Account Manager, Financial Services, Large Customer Sales

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing roles.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Google’s advertising products and solutions, Search, App and You Tube advertising solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan and organize sales activities to meet customer goals.
  • Ability to be comfortable with ambiguity, curious, and resilient.
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Excellent people management and communication skills.

As an Account Manager, you will partner with account executives and product specialists to manage client and agency relationships, accelerate in-quarter business, and drive the usage of Google’s AI solutions against the competition. Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, You Tube, Measurement, and more.

As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $84,000-$120,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with direct and agency clients, and develop an understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives and success metrics (business and personal).
  • Work proactively and cooperatively with account executives, specialists peers and external stakeholders to ensure workflows and projects are completed on time to a high standard.
  • Plan for, and achieve, business growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
  • Build knowledge of how You Tube advertising solutions work, and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives and deliver consistent Value Delivered narratives to show impact and win incremental of Google media.
