Sales Development Representative

, a growth-stage NYC‑based Fin Tech company that is reinventing rent payment. Flex enables tenants to pay rent on a schedule that fits their finances, empowering renters with flexibility over a significant recurring expense.

About the Role

As our sales organization expands, we need a dedicated SDR to build pipelines for property management companies. The role focuses primarily on outbound prospecting—calling and emailing prospects—while also following up on inbound leads.

What You'll Do
  • Drive revenue and market share within the rental real‑estate market.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline in the CRM.
  • Tailor prospecting approaches for different personas.
  • Establish relationships with senior executives and decision makers through outbound efforts.
  • Respond quickly to inbound leads.
  • Educate prospective customers on the value of Flex.
  • Handle ad‑hoc projects and initiatives for the sales organization.
  • Collaborate with the Accounts team to build strategic adoption plans for new customers.
Key Qualifications
  • 2+ years of professional experience in sales development or related roles.
  • Consistent track record of quota attainment.
  • Strong ability to build relationships with middle management and ownership quickly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Skilled at phone, email, and social‑media prospecting.
  • Self‑starter, hungry for success, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
Compensation

Commission‑earning role with an on‑target earnings (OTE) range of $65,000‑$80,000, commensurate with experience and internal leveling guidelines.
