VSP Vision Care's Commercial Mid Markets division is searching for an Account Executive ready to hit the ground running in the Bay Area, California. You'll take our business to the next level as you establish strong relationships with brokers and clients while selling to new businesses. You'll create and implement winning sales strategies to meet the unique needs of middle market accounts and increase memberships and capitalize on new opportunities.

- Develop and implement strategic business plans specific to the needs of individual middle market accounts to increase membership and identify new and ancillary product sales opportunities
- Cultivate and manage strong business relationships with prospects, their executives, brokers, and consultants
- Maintain current working knowledge of VSP's new and existing products and services
- Act as liaison between various VSP departments and customers to ensure service levels and expectations are met. Collaborate with marketing and product development to address customer's needs and analyze market data
- Utilize sales automation system to make inquiries, maintain records, and prepare reports
- At least three years of business‑to‑business sales or account management experience
- Results‑driven achiever with exemplary planning and organizational skills, along with a high degree of detail orientation
- Highly adaptable, positive, resilient, patient risk‑taker who is open to new ideas
- Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues
- Innovative problem‑solver who can generate workable solutions and resolve problems

- Highly motivated self‑starter who takes the initiative with minimal supervision
- Experience in the healthcare or insurance industry
