Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Sales Manager role based in the United States (California, Texas, Illinois, Massachusetts, or Maryland). The Sales Manager will oversee sales operations, build and maintain strong client relationships, and generate new business opportunities in a defined territory.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales plans and strategies for the assigned region.
  • Identify potential clients and engage in lead generation activities.
  • Lead sales presentations and manage the account portfolio.
  • Negotiate contracts and finalize deals to achieve sales goals.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align sales strategies with company objectives.
Qualifications
  • Strong sales and business development skills, including client relationship management and lead generation.
  • Experience in Scientific Equipment Sales, especially within the Electron Microscope industry (preferred).
  • Experience in market research, sales forecasting, and creating effective sales strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and familiarity with sales analytics software.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Technical knowledge and experience in scientific instrumentation or related fields is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and conferences and a valid U.S. driver’s license.
