Position: Assistant Showroom Manager (A&D Trade/Luxury Carpet Sales Professional)

Overview

STARK is seeking a high-performing Assistant Showroom Manager with luxury sales experience and a proven track record with trade professionals (Interior Designers, Architectural Firms). This role is based in the San Francisco, CA showroom and focuses on elevating the STARK brand through client-centered sales and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Lead by example to meet and exceed personal sales goals, contributing to the showroom's overall sales performance.
  • Engage with potential clients effectively, contributing to and enhancing STARK’s sales strategies and client-centric approach.
  • Offer expert product guidance by understanding client needs and prioritizing a client-first experience.
  • Develop and execute strategies to establish and maintain strong, lasting client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Address client inquiries promptly and resolve issues to support sales targets.
  • Use technological tools and platforms to enhance client communication and relationship management, improving engagement and efficiency.
  • Promote STARK’s mission, values, and a culture of collaboration, creativity, and client service.
  • Foster a team-oriented environment with coaching and development to achieve sales targets.
  • Lead showroom staff with emphasis on sales effectiveness and the use of technology to improve performance.
  • Oversee daily showroom operations to align with STARK standards and support sales success.
  • Lead technology adoption in the showroom to streamline operations and enhance the client experience.

Note:

This role requires flexibility to adapt duties as needed to support showroom goals.

Qualifications
  • A strong passion for interior design, preferably with a BA/BS in Interior Design or a related field.
  • 5+ years of luxury sales experience (preferably in the design trade).
  • Sales leadership experience is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, problem-solving, and technological skills.
