  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.
Preferred qualifications:
  • 4 years of experience managing digital marketing/advertising campaigns, and managing relationships with clients, customers, or agencies.
  • 3 years of experience in project management.
  • 2 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Experienced in data analysis and forecasting.

As a Principal Account Manager, you will develop and manage relationships with client and agency partners in ads/media and related fields, working closely with our team and cross‑functional partners to understand customer opportunities and deliver relevant solutions. You will be a lead advocate within Google and our partners’ organizations, focused on the successful development and execution of digital marketing campaigns.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, You Tube, Measurement, and more.

As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market‑shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $118,000‑$174,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
  • Understand key clients business goals and current media/advertising strategies.
  • Identify potential and enhancing growth across the client portfolio of brands via forward thinking, data‑driven analyses and consultative recommendations.
  • Co‑build, execute and optimize against joint business plans.
  • Act as a liaison with clients and agencies regarding new product launches and advertising opportunities.
