We are seeking a professional and composed Security Guard to support a high-profile luxury retail environment located in San Francisco's 94103 area. This role requires a strong, confident presence, sound judgment, and the ability to balance proactive security awareness with a refined, customer-focused guest experience in a fast-paced retail setting.

The ideal candidate is comfortable managing high foot traffic, understands access control and crowd dynamics, and can operate confidently in a visible, client-facing role where discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail are essential.

• Maintain a professional, welcoming, and authoritative presence while greeting and guiding guests, supporting a calm, orderly, and upscale retail environment, and managing entry, exit, and overall guest flow during regular operations, peak periods, and special retail activations
• Observe store activity and crowd dynamics to identify, address, and escalate suspicious or disruptive behavior as needed, using calm, respectful communication and appropriate de-escalation techniques
• Provide clear direction and support during busy hours, assist with access control, and receive, log, and track deliveries, packages, and high-value merchandise
• Communicate effectively with store leadership regarding incidents, concerns, deliveries, or operational needs, while maintaining strict confidentiality regarding clientele, staff, and internal operations
• Uphold grooming, uniform, and conduct standards consistent with a luxury retail setting at all times

• Valid California Guard Card issued by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) (required)
• Prior experience in law enforcement, military, corrections, security, or door/crowd control strongly preferred, with additional experience in high-volume guest environments considered a plus
• Strong situational awareness, sound decision-making, and observational skills, with the ability to remain calm, alert, and professional under pressure
• Excellent communication, conflict de-escalation, and interpersonal abilities, along with reliable transportation and consistent punctuality

• $26.00 per hour
