Smart & Final is seeking a driven team member to support day‑to‑day store operations at our 350 Seventh Avenue location in San Francisco, California. This is a part‑time position with a starting rate of $19.25 per hour.

• Read and write English; interact effectively with customers and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information clearly in one‑on‑one and small group settings.
• Apply common sense for detailed written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs; frequently lift 45 lbs; occasionally lift 60 lbs.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate.

The Part‑Time Associate reports to the Store Manager and performs management‑assigned duties, which may include but are not limited to:

• Receiving inventory, stocking, and maintaining assigned store sections.
• Operating a cash register, processing payments, and handling refunds.
• Maintaining sanitation standards inside and outside the store.
• Providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service and assisting with vehicle loading when requested.
• Performing basic bookkeeping duties, recording lost or damaged goods.

• Maintain assigned store sections; order, receive, and stock merchandise; ensure proper pricing and rotation; set up advertising/promotional displays; review invoices for accuracy.
• Cleans and maintains sanitation standards throughout the store and parking lot.
• Operates a cash register, receives payment, processes refunds, and verifies customer eligibility for alcoholic beverages.
• Offers efficient, courteous assistance to customers with product information and purchases.
• Performs basic bookkeeping: records lost/ damaged goods, uses appropriate tools.
