Position: Stockroom Associate (Part-Time)

Margaux is a new kind of footwear brand rooted in friendship, collaboration, and community. Co‑founders Sarah Pierson and Alexa Buckley launched Margaux in 2015, setting out to create a modern footwear wardrobe for women on the go, powered by thoughtful design and an innovative approach. What started as a handful of silhouettes has grown into a full collection of beautiful, comfortable styles for everywhere life takes you.

Each pair is designed in New York and handmade in Spain, and thoughtfully crafted to withstand the test of time.

Position Overview

Margaux is seeking a detail‑oriented and dependable Part‑Time Stockroom Associate to join our team at our Fillmore Street store in San Francisco. This role is integral to the day‑to‑day operations of the store and works closely with the Store Manager and sales team to ensure inventory is well organized, accessible, and efficiently managed.

The Stockroom Associate’s primary focus will be maintaining an orderly downstairs stock room, supporting inventory receiving and processing, and assisting the sales team by pulling and returning product for customers. This position plays a critical role in delivering a seamless and elevated in‑store experience.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient downstairs stock room throughout the day, ensuring all product is properly stored and easy to locate.
  • Assist with receiving, unpacking, processing, and organizing incoming inventory shipments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support the sales floor by promptly pulling requested sizes and styles for customers to try on and returning product to stock as needed.
  • Help manage back‑of‑house inventory levels, communicate stock issues proactively, and support inventory counts and transfers.
  • Support general store operations as needed to ensure smooth daily workflow.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team and Store Manager to maintain operational excellence and uphold Margaux brand standards.

Pay is on an hourly basis, ranging from $20–$23 per hour, commensurate with experience. This position is part‑time.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in retail stock, operations, or back‑of‑house support is preferred, though not required.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Reliable, efficient, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Collaborative and team‑oriented, with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Passion for the Margaux brand and commitment to supporting an exceptional customer experience.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and special events.
