Store Opening & Closing

  • Op utilities and cash handling during opening/closing, ensuring floor & stockroom are ready.
  • Authorizes delivery access by opening the-ren back door.
Cash & Sales Operations
  • Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to safe, and provides change per registers.
  • Registers all sales on assigned register, records scanning errors, price verifications, and voids.
  • Assists with order review, reverse logistics, and developing displays.
  • Maintains accurate inventory counts across all departments.
  • Executes price updates, signage, and compliance tasks per local regulations.
  • Participates in bookkeeping activities such as cash reports, counts, ledgers, and bill payment.
  • Performs interior & exterior maintenance, handling repairs and cleanliness.
  • Separates food items and manages stock rotation per FIFO guidelines.
  • Supports pharmacy out window when requested.
  • Ensures compliance with state and local regulations on regulated products.
  • Conducts bag checks of team members before store closure.
  • Follows all company policies, maintains respectful coworker relationships, and completes special assignments.
Customer Experience
  • Engages customers/patients, greeting them and assisting with products and services.
  • Resolves customer issues and answers questions for a positive experience.
  • Instills customer service best practices with team, such as proactive help and courtesy.
Team Leadership & Training
  • Provides instruction and coaching to team members on warehouse, vendor ordering, and store procedures.
  • Attends training and completes PPLs as requested.
Communications
  • Serves as liaison between management and non‑management invalembers during manager absence.
  • Reports disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum one year supervisory, leadership, or retail key holder experience.
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred knowledge of store inventory control.
  • Consideration for qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
  • Valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
