Pay Range: $21.12 - $21.63 per hour (depending on experience)

Job Type: Full‑Time, Non‑exempt with benefits

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 7:30AM - 4:00PM

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
• Ability to interpret and explain menu, refer or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understand requests.
• Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor, and peers. Requires courtesy, tact, and graciousness.
• Understands and performs job duties in a manner that meets the demand of kosher dining. Knowledge of and sensitivity to Jewish culture and tradition is desirable.

• Experience waiting tables in a restaurant, club or hotel with fine dining preferred.
• Must undergo a Physical exam and Tuberculosis Screening, resulting in a negative TB diagnosis prior to employment.
• Must obtain clearance or exemption approval from the Department of Social Services following FBI and DOJ livescan background check prior to employment.

• Provides service and requested items both graciously and politely.
• Cleans and sanitizes tables and maintains workstations in proper order.
• Maintain general maintenance and cleanliness of Café equipment.
• Clears dishes and debris from tables during and after visits.
• Answers pertinent questions about menu items.
• Completes opening and/or closing side work duties in a timely manner.
