Part‑Time Front of the House (Especially need someone who can open and close on Thursdays!)

Nippon Curry is looking for a cheerful, hard‑working, high‑energy, positive‑minded cashier/server. You’ll be responsible for taking customers’ orders for dine‑in and takeout, expediting orders, bussing tables, and keeping the restaurant clean.

• Greeting customers in a warm, cheerful manner, providing high‑level customer service.
• Taking food orders and suggestive selling.
• Clearing dishes, wiping tables, and sweeping floors.
• Accepting payment and giving correct change to the customer.
• Stocking items and handling inventory.
• The restaurant is open for business every day.

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Able to do basic math and handle cash.
• Able to open and/or close the restaurant.
• Able to stand for extended durations of time.
• Able to connect with customers.

We brought an authentic, award‑winning Japanese curry and opened our first shop in San Francisco in February 2021 and have opened a second shop in Berkeley.
