Overview

Bourbon Steak is Chef Michael Mina’s love letter to the classic American steakhouse. The restaurant offers the finest cuts of premium beef and seafood, complemented by a cutting-edge wine and spirits program, and uses local farmers and purveyors to highlight regional ingredients. Prepare drink orders for guests according to specified recipes, issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles, and maintain bar area cleanliness and organization.

Prepare fresh garnishes, stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies, transport supplies to the bar setup area, wash soiled glassware, remove soiled wares, anticipate replenishment needs, and process all payment methods. Count bank at end of shift, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank. Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas. Complete closing duties. Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures;

report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the manager; complete safety trainings and certifications. Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge guests; anticipate and address service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Communicate clearly and professionally; develop positive working relationships with others; support team goals; respond appropriately to concerns of other employees. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards;

read and visually verify information in various formats; stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; move and lift objects up to 50 pounds; navigate confined spaces and varied terrains; reach, bend, twist, and stoop. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

• Issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles; stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies; maintain cleanliness of bar and related areas.
• Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks; transport supplies to bar setup area; wash and clear soiled glassware and wares; manage bar top organization.
• Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs; process all payment methods; balance and secure cash at end of shift; complete cashier reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas; complete closing duties.
• Follow safety, security, and company policies; report accidents or unsafe conditions; complete safety training and certifications.
• Maintain professional appearance and protect company assets; welcome and acknowledge guests; communicate clearly and professionally.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships; support team goals; address concerns of other employees; adhere to quality standards.
