Team Member, Restaurant​/Food Service

Position TEAM MEMBER

At Bakers Hall you may work in the Marketplace, Cafe, or espresso bar. Positions include Greeter, Cashier, or Kitchen Team Member.

• Greeter: welcoming guests inside, working in the Marketplace, ensuring displays are full and items are organized, helping the flow of customers waiting in line, assisting customers with their purchases of items and bread selection.
• Cashier: operating cash registers, handling American currency, credit card transactions, waiting on customers, stocking, cleaning, etc.
• Kitchen Team Member: helping clear dirty tables & re-set, ensuring trash is empty and orderly, helping clean the restaurant each night, washing, stocking restaurant supplies, maintaining a clean work area, washing pots & pans by hand in hot water, using dishwashing machines for glasses, dishes, & cutlery.

Team members help customers find desired goods or services. They answer questions, make purchase recommendations and explain the benefits of the goods or services. Once they have helped customers make a satisfactory selection, they add up the total purchases and complete the transactions.
