You will use cutting-edge biosensors and optogenetic tools to visualize and control the physiology and morphogenesis of the developing zebrafish heart. This is a unique opportunity to work at the interface between organ physiology, developmental biology, and molecular biophysics, contribute to establishing a new lab, and develop a high degree of research independence while potentially designing and pursuing your own project and publications.

- Assist in establishing the Jia Lab as a productive research environment and develop independent project ideas.
- Prepare, analyze, and interpret experimental data; contribute to manuscript preparation and potential publications.
- Junior Specialist — Baccalaureate degree (or equivalent) or at least four years of research experience.
- Assistant Specialist — Master’s degree or a baccalaureate degree with 3 or more years of research experience.
- Strong curiosity, passion for science, and work ethic.
