Location: San Francisco Bay Area, CA
SummaryLeasing Agents/Independent Contractors lease apartments within our portfolios in San Francisco and the Bay Area. Agents accept leads from our Leasing Admin team or post their own ads, receive leads from these ads, contact and vet prospective clients, schedule appointments to tour units, and secure leases on apartments.

We work hard to find historic apartment buildings in San Francisco’s best neighborhoods, carefully renovate each structure, restore its unique characteristics, and build modern amenities into the units. PrimaryResponsibilities
- Acquire the information necessary to navigate the rental process in San Francisco and the Bay Area
- Understand and adhere to San Francisco Fair Housing laws
- Accept and vet leads provided by the office team and/or post ads on Craigslist and other ILS feeds
- Track and manage leads
- Tour prospective residents through our buildings and units
- Provide applications to prospective residents and follow up on the application process
- Sign leases with prospective residents
- Prepare tour reports
- Explain and understand the Move‑in Requirements
- Move-in Funds required
- Deposit required
- Renters Insurance
- Understand market rent/design/neighborhood trends in SF and the Bay Area
- 3‑5 years of experience in real estate, leasing, or other related fields
- A California Real Estate Salesperson or Brokerage license is required
- Previous real estate experience and customer service is advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Customer service focused
- Attention to detail and self‑motivation required
- Must work well in a team setting
- Effective communication skills required, both verbal and written
- The ability to work independently, be organized and detail oriented
- Flexibility in schedule, including nights and weekends as needed
- Capability to work collaboratively and prioritize teamwork
