The Castro Animal Hospital is excited to offer a full-time New Graduate Veterinarian Position at our inner-city San Francisco Practice!

About The Castro Animal Hospital (TCAH)

We are the Castro Branch of a two location Veterinary Hospital Group (our second location being on Polk Street) that sees dogs and cats exclusively. We have a strong focus on internal medicine and dentistry, however our DVM team also practices across a range of disciplines from acupuncture to soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.

  We have an 11 DVM team that is extremely collaborative. As a result, a new graduate has an excellent support network and pool of knowledge to draw on
• Our experience training new graduates:
  We have trained multiple previous grads and have a well-constructed graduate program that allows our new grads to find their feet and learn new skills while being fully supported by our more experienced vets and mentors
• Our facility:
  We are a relatively new clinic, having opened in 2019, and are therefore well provisioned with the latest equipment, practices & operation systems (in-house laboratory, radiography, ultrasound etc.)

  We are in the bustling Castro/Duboce neighborhood of San Francisco with easy access to Muni and BART, and walking distance from vibrant restaurants and shops
• Our clients:
  We have a wonderful & diverse clientele with very good overall client compliance. This allows us thorough work up of cases and the ability for gold-standard practice

• Competitive salary + production ($140,000 - $180,000 annually, depending on experience)
