Critical Care Veterinary Technician, Swing Shift
Shift & Compensation

Shift: Sun–Wed, 12 PM–2 AM.
Hourly Pay: Up to $40/hr
Night Differential: $5.50/hr (6 PM – 6 AM)
Sign-On Bonus: RVT $7,000 / SVA $5,000
Schedule: Full-Time Swing

Role Responsibilities
  • Triaging incoming patients and assisting DVMs with assessments, treatments, and procedures
  • Providing advanced monitoring and nursing care for hospitalized patients
  • Inducing and monitoring anesthesia safely
  • Performing in-house lab tests and preparing samples for external labs
  • Collaborating on treatment plans and communicating updates to clients
  • Participating daily rounds and ensuring seamless shift communication
Qualifications
  • RVT: Valid and current California RVT license
  • SVA: 3+ years of hands-on clinical experience in a hospital setting
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Calm, compassionate, and reliable in high-stress situations
  • Commitment to exceptional patient care and client service
  • Willingness to learn and grow technical skills
