Department
Description:
The Parks Conservancy s Community Stewardship and Engagement (CSE) team focuses on creating and strengthening connections between communities and parklands, supporting priority park needs through a variety of programs that serve diverse Bay Area communities. We aim to build trustful relationships and create impactful experiences that offer opportunities for stewardship, science, storytelling, recreation, exploration, and wellness. We listen to understand local community needs and collaborate with community leaders to co-create programs that support the health, well-being, and care of both communities and the flora and fauna, while inspiring new ways of learning and contributing to social justice and environmental issues.
