Veterinary Hospital Aid​/Technician Assistant

Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic Veterinary Hospital Aids/Technician Assistants/Kennels Assistants to support our team with a variety of technical tasks and animal care. As a Veterinary Hospital Aids/Technician Assistant, you will be required to help with restraining pets, and provide basic technical assistance such as the setting up and cleaning of equipment, setting parameters, checking doses, and overseeing processes. Urban Pet Hospital is currently looking to hire Veterinary Hospital Aids/Technician Assistants/Kennels Assistants.

• Assist with restraining pets as needed.
• Set up and clean equipment, set parameters, check doses, oversee processes.
• Learn to draw up and administer vaccines, help with blood collection and IV catheter placement, take X-rays, assist with surgeries, and more.
• Assist with appointments and support technicians as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the facility.
