Travel RN - Operating Room - Ambulatory

Position: Travel RN - Operating Room - Ambulatory OR
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Ambulatory Care position in California requiring a BSN, CA RN license, and ambulatory care experience.

Job Details

• Ambulatory Care setting within a major academic medical center,

• Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 to 17:00,

• Direct patient care including phone triage, rooming, and urgent referral review,

• Floating to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius may be required,

• May assist with blood draws for PRP and various procedures,

• Epic 'In-Basket' program used and experience is preferred,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license is required,

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required,

• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required,

• Minimum of 2 years ICU, Med/Surg, or ER experience required,

• At least 1 year of recent ambulatory care nursing experience including phone triage, rooming, and urgent referral review is required,

• COVID-19 vaccination and booster required prior to start,

• Prior travel RN experience within the last 12 months required,

Additional Information

• Ambulatory Otolaryngology experience including care for head, neck conditions, and tracheostomy preferred,

• Team members may be reassigned to different departments or facilities as needed,

• Blood draw for PRP and procedural assistance preferred,

• Prior experience in a teaching hospital is preferred,

• Completion of online modules required prior to and during employment,

• Time off requests must be submitted and approved at the time of offer, with limits on total days,
