Registered Nurse - Pediatrics

We are seeking an acute care pediatric RN who is accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care. This role involves direct patient care, patient and family education, and managing transitions of care in an acute patient setting. The successful candidate will deliver holistic and individualized care to all patients in the assigned area. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and coordinating a plan of care that incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.

The RN will foster and maintain collaborative relationships between patients, their family/support group, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communications.

• BLS (AHA) certification
• California RN Licensure
• PALS certification
• 2 years of experience in Pediatrics
• APHON certification is preferred

We are looking for an RN with critical care experience in PICU or IMCU. The traveler will likely float to PICU and NICU, so they must be capable and feel comfortable in these environments.

• 3x12-hour shifts,
• Weekend rotation included
• No on-call requirements

Must be able to start on 2/23.
