Nestled in San Francisco's Excelsior neighborhood on a nine-acre campus, the San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living (SFCJL) is a center of excellence in providing a continuum of care. This includes the Frank Residences, offering luxurious assisted living and memory care services; the Jewish Home and Rehabilitation Center, featuring long-term skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation, and an acute psychiatric unit specialized in mental healthcare for older adults over age 55;
and the Jewish Home and Senior Living Foundation.
- Master’s degree in Psychiatric Nursing or related field with administrative experience OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field with psychiatric nursing experience and at least one year of psychiatric nursing administration OR
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) and graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Experience working in a psychiatric treatment milieu, preferably with a geriatric population
- Strong leadership, supervisory, and staff development skills
- Knowledge of labor relations and healthcare regulations
- Working knowledge of state and federal/CMS guidelines
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commitment to patient-centered, compassionate geriatric-psychiatric care
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and all levels of the organization
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- Detail-oriented, accurate, and organized
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation
