Travel RN - Cardiovascular ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) position in California, requiring a current CA RN license and prior CVICU experience.

Job Details

• Work in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) in a hospital setting,

• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts,

• Assignment length is 13 weeks,

• Utilizes Epic EMR system,

• Local and travel candidates are both accepted at the same rate,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration,

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program,

• At least 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent CVICU experience,

• Certifications required:
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), both active,

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred,

• One year of recent progressive or intermediate care experience preferred,

• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include delivering critical care nursing to cardiovascular ICU patients,

• Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-acuity environment,

• All certifications and licenses must be active at time of consideration; pending not accepted,

• Epic EMR experience is strongly preferred,

• May not exceed two years of contingent work with the client health system without a 90-day break,

• COVID and flu vaccination documentation may be required,
