The Youth Development Program Quality and Fidelity Director is responsible for the strategic direction, management, and continuous improvement of program quality across multiple youth development programs. This role supports various after school programs with the design, implementation, and evaluation of program quality and fidelity in their programs. This role will be reporting to the Associate Executive Director.
Job ResponsibilitiesProgram Leadership & Strategy
- Guide the development, implementation, and evaluation of program quality initiatives across various youth development after school programs and locations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to innovate and enhance program quality.
- Assess and audit youth development programs using fidelity tools.
- Participate in association-wide youth development teams, work groups, and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure program quality and fidelity goals are clearly defined, measurable, and responsive to association, school district partners, and community needs.
- Monitor trends and community feedback to inform continuous program improvement.
Staff Supervision & Development
- Support, train, and mentor youth development after school program leadership and staff in the development, execution, and monitoring of their site program quality development plans.
- Provide direct support and guidance to Site Coordinators, Lead Staff, program leaders in program quality and fidelity
- Provide regular coaching, support, and site audit/evaluations to promote program development and growth to enhance program quality.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and accountable team culture.
Community Engagement & Partnerships
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, participants, and stakeholders.
- Represent the organization in coalitions, networks, and public events.
- Support outreach strategies that reflect the strengths and needs of the communities served.
Operations & Compliance
- Oversee program logistics, resource management, and administrative functions.
- Ensure compliance with funder, legal, and organizational requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare timely reports on program performance and impact
- Implement systems to track outcomes, assess effectiveness, and gather participant feedback across our youth programs.
- Use data to guide decision-making and adapt programming for greater impact.
- Contribute to organizational learning by sharing results, insights, and success
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in youth programming, including staff supervision.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in youth development settings.
- Experience supervising staff or volunteers in a collaborative work environment.
