An established organisation within the entertainment and media space is seeking a dynamic and experienced Partnerships Engagement Manager to lead entertainment-related partnerships and drive key performance outcomes. This role is ideal for a results-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and can balance strategic thinking with creative execution.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for managing end-to-end partnership strategy and delivery, working across internal teams and external partners to develop innovative, high-impact activations. This includes overseeing national-scale campaigns, managing significant budgets, and delivering clear performance reporting to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development, pitching, negotiation, execution, and reporting of entertainment partnerships aligned to business objectives across experiential activations, digital and social campaigns, media placements, talent and influencer marketing, and more.
- Develop and oversee go-to-market strategies and integrated marketing plans, from briefing and KPI definition through to execution and post-campaign analysis.
- Scale partnership activations nationally, managing risk, tracking progress, and making strategic trade-offs to achieve objectives.
- Define, monitor, and present KPIs and performance metrics to senior leadership.
- Manage and reconcile partnership budgets exceeding $1M, ensuring effective allocation of resources and ROI optimisation.
- Drive cross-functional alignment by collaborating with internal stakeholders, agencies, and external partners to deliver against agreed objectives and timelines.
- Oversee day-to-day agency management, including budgeting, performance reporting, and optimisation using data-driven insights.
- Proactively manage blockers and challenges, translating complex strategies into effective, on-brand marketing outcomes.
- Deliver comprehensive pre- and post-campaign reporting, highlighting results, insights, and recommendations to inform future strategy.
- Proven experience in partnerships, strategic marketing and go-to-market roles.
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale partnerships from planning through execution.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Proven experience managing large budgets and assessing financial performance.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience with contract negotiations and a solid understanding of partnership-related legal considerations.
- Background in entertainment, media, or technology environments.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to turn insights into actionable strategies.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to navigating complexity.
