THE ROLE

Creative Materials Coordinator-Early Career

Success in this role means becoming the connective tissue between creative, merchandising, and digital—ensuring every category launch is beautifully executed, on time, and aligned with brand priorities. The ideal candidate is a clear communicator, calendar master, and process thinker who thrives in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.

This role is critical to scaling our category business—keeping creative aligned, launches smooth, and storytelling consistent across all channels.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all inbound and outbound sample shipments to ensure timely receiving, unpackaging, and shipping of samples between Merchandising, Sourcing, Vendor, Creative, and Styling partners
  • Support in-office sample organization
  • Maintain accurate sample tagging for all samples
  • Act as the primary point of contact between Merchandising, Styling, Creative, and Digital Teams to align on sample needs for product launches and photoshoot deadlines.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project and photoshoot statuses, asset needs, and potential roadblocks.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiencies between cross-functional teams including Merchandising, Styling, Creative, etc
  • Monitor timelines to ensure creative assets align with Merchandising and Marketing priorities.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 1-3 years in project coordination, creative operations, or merchandising support (ideally in retail or e-commerce)
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams and product launches
  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing calendars, timelines, and deliverables
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; comfortable as a liaison between teams
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Proven ability to anticipate and resolve workflow bottlenecks
  • Proactive, accountable, and comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Collaborative mindset with a clear sense of ownership
