RoleThe Sr. Paid Media Marketing Associate is part of the NA Go-To-Market Media team, supporting Client Marketing media team through the development and execution of media campaigns focused on driving Client partner business results. This position fills a key role on the NA Marketing Client Marketing GTM team, helping to grow the overall Client marketing business, and serving as a subject matter expert in media across the larger NA marketing organization.
The Sr. Associate must thrive in a dynamic, highly matrixed environment. They should be results-oriented, flexible, with a "can do" attitude. They should have a consistent track record of collaborating with internal team members and external agency partners, be detail oriented, and thoughtful when preparing materials for and communicating with Visa clients.
Responsibilities- Manage paid media strategies for digital and non-digital client media programs (e.g., TV, display, social, SEM) with agency partners and Visa's media team.
- Support and work cross-functionally with Client Marketing leads, agency partners and internal Visa teams during media plan development, including prepping brief documents, creative production, analyzing media performance, and executing optimizations.
- Identify key opportunities to pitch media opportunities to clients, including ways to integrate clients into Visa's sponsorship partnerships (e.g., NFL, Olympics, FIFA World Cup).
- Participate in ideation and development of media POVs, test-and-learn opportunities, team media trainings, and custom, innovative media executions for Visa clients.
- Manage status call meetings with agency partners, vendors, and platform partners.
- Strong management of media plan, project timeline, finance, and budget tracker.
- Interest in client-facing role and effective presentation skills.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
This role is only open to our San Francisco location.

QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD).
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD).
- Work experience with majority in marketing roles that involved both digital and non-digital media campaign management and execution.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong project management skills and experience coordinating cross-functional, end-to-end projects with a high level of detail.
- Team player able to work on multi-part projects across teams and ensure project deadlines and budgets are met.
- Ability and initiative to self-manage and multitask to support multiple efforts as needed.
- Experience running meetings with internal and external customers and users.
- Positive relationship management skills and ability to influence decision makers both internally and externally.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- SEM experience is a plus.
- Strong strategic thinker and problem solver focused on results, with thoughtfulness, drive, and appropriate urgency.
- Interest in researching, analyzing trends and interpreting data to uncover insights.
- Executive presence and ability to present and represent Visa both internally and with clients.
