Marketplace Monetization Manager (Affirm)

Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest. In the affirm app, we’re building a one‑of‑a‑kind marketplace that connects consumers and merchants through discovery, value, and transparent credit. As a Marketplace Monetization Manager you will play a critical role in scaling our marketplace monetization engine by managing high‑impact partnerships across direct merchants, affiliate networks, sub‑affiliate partners, agencies, and other offer aggregators.

You’ll influence the overall marketplace growth strategy and own key components of its execution, ensuring our partner ecosystem drives measurable performance and revenue growth.

What You'll Do
  • Influence and execute the marketplace growth strategy with senior leaders.
  • Own partner management across the ecosystem and grow relationships with merchants, affiliate networks, sub‑affiliate partners, offer aggregators, and agencies.
  • Drive performance and revenue by translating strategic objectives into partner‑level plans, overseeing campaign optimization, performance analysis, and revenue delivery.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, Marketing, and Data Science to provide partner insights, identify opportunities for innovation, and improve advertiser and consumer outcomes.
  • Advocate as a strategic partner, bring the voice of merchants, agencies, and affiliates into roadmap discussions.
  • Deliver actionable insights and reporting, analyzing performance trends, campaign outcomes, and revenue contribution.
  • Explore new monetization opportunities by identifying and piloting new models, ad formats, or channel partnerships.
What We Look For
  • 6+ years of experience in partner management, performance marketing, or ecommerce strategy, including managing sub‑affiliate programs.
  • Strong experience managing external relationships and optimizing multi‑channel performance marketing programs.
  • Proven ability to influence strategic direction and drive execution through complex partner ecosystems.
  • Deep understanding of affiliate marketing, digital advertising, and ecommerce growth levers.
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills, synthesizing data into strategic insights and influencing senior audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with experience managing senior relationships across brands and agencies.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial operator who thrives in ambiguity, drives alignment, and executes with precision.
  • Collaborative and mission‑driven, passionate about building transparent, high‑performing partnerships that deliver value to merchants and consumers.
Compensation & Benefits

Base Pay Grade: K. Equity Grade:
6. Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness, and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental, and vision for you and your dependents). USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: $140,000 – $190,000. USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: $124,000 – $174,000.
