Sr. Marketing Manager, Startup Community Marketing

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an exceptional marketing professional to lead our Startup community marketing efforts in the San Francisco area. The role will develop high‑impact marketing initiatives across the region for early‑stage customers and execute community engagement activities to meet our customers where they are.

• Execute community engagement activities across three focus areas: technical immersion programs, Startup ecosystem reach initiatives through strategic 3P event activation, vertical‑specific competitions, and formalized partnerships with key accelerators and community hubs.
• Develop and run migration programs to convert engaged founders into AWS customers.
• Collaborate with the Startup marketing team and cross‑functional geo teams to ideate fresh ideas that spark interest and drive growth.
• Deliver event execution and project management in a fast‑paced environment.
• Travel domestically as required.

• 6+ years of professional marketing experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Proficiency in Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, pivot tables).
• Experience building, executing and scaling cross‑functional marketing programs.
• Ability to communicate results to senior leadership.

• Experience creating and executing integrated marketing lead generation campaigns with live and virtual events, webinars, email, lead nurturing, and CRM/sales insights.
• Experience with Salesforce and Tableau.
