Team Lead - Robotics Lab Operator
We’re looking for a hands-on and organized Lead Robotics Operator to oversee day-to-day operations in our Robotics laboratory. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys guiding a team, ensuring smooth workflows, and maintaining a safe, efficient lab environment. You’ll play a key role in supporting research and development by coordinating simple robotics tasks that contribute to broader data collection efforts.
Pay: $40
Shift Hours: 6:30am-2:30pm or 2:30pm-10:30pm
What You’ll Do- Lead and Support the Lab Team
- Supervise and mentor Lab Operators, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and safely
- Provide training and guidance on robotics system usage and lab protocols
- Coordinate daily assignments and monitor team performance
- Oversee Robotics Operations
- Manage the execution of routine robotics tasks using tablet-based control systems
- Ensure consistency and reliability in how tasks are performed
- Troubleshoot minor issues and escalate technical concerns when needed
- Maintain Lab Readiness
- Support basic hardware setup and assist with system preparation
- Ensure the lab remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Monitor power supplies and equipment functionality
- Experience in a lab, manufacturing, or technical environment
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow and enforce clear instructions and procedures
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
