Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembler to work on-site with our clients in the food manufacturing industry. You will play a crucial role in assisting customer manufacturing supervisors and operators to effectively utilize robots for food assembly lines. This position requires coordinating manufacturing plans with robot setup and providing continuous training to maximize production efficiency.
Responsibilities- Assist the customers' assembly line leaders in planning the use of robots.
- Collaborate with line supervisors to move robots to the assembly line.
- Configure robots for specific ingredient and meal operations.
- Set up and operate robots.
- Provide on-site troubleshooting and perform simple repairs.
- Coordinate and execute inspection, maintenance, and repair tasks on robots in the field.
- Train customers on robot operation and maintenance.
- Recognize, communicate, and document product issues, complaints, and improvements.
- Escalate problems to appropriate resources when necessary.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 1 year in a manufacturing support role.
- Mechanical, Robotics, Troubleshooting, Machine Operating, Electrical, and Assembly skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work in high-pressure customer interactions.

- Self-driven with strong problem-solving skills.

Work EnvironmentThis role requires commuting between our client's location and a base in San Francisco, with the primary base being at the client site. You will need to be in San Francisco once a week. The food manufacturing sites are maintained at a cold temperature of approximately 34 ℉, so wearing a warm coat and being comfortable working in cold conditions is essential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Francisco, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
