The Shipping and Receiving Logistics Manager oversees, directs, and manages all aspects of the operations for the Headquarters mailroom. This includes handling key parcel carrier accounts, developing and implementing programs to optimize logistics workflows, and ensuring seamless coordination between physical and digital mail processes. The role also ensures efficient processing, tracking, and delivery of all inbound and outbound shipments, while maintaining meticulous records and inventory control.

A key function is the accurate allocation, tracking, and reconciliation of parcel billing, ensuring shipping costs are properly assigned to the correct cost centers or departments.

This is a hybrid position requiring 5 days per week in our San Francisco Office. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this role.

• Develop and implement efficient shipping and receiving procedures and protocols.
• Manage the daily operations of the Headquarters shipping and receiving mailroom, processing all incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and freight.
• Administer and oversee all corporate shipping accounts, ensuring cost‑effectiveness and adherence to company policies.
• Coordinate with various departments to facilitate the timely and accurate delivery of materials.
• Track shipments and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
• Manage and audit onsite inventory, supplies and equipment.
• Resolve shipping and receiving discrepancies or issues promptly and effectively.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and standards.
• Manage and supervise, train, and mentor mailroom staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on shipping and receiving activities as required.
• Track and allocate monthly UPS billings according to reference numbers, and provide detailed cost breakdowns to accounting.
• Manage corporate UPS account users, including adding and removing profiles as required.
• Develop and launch global shipping programs and solutions. Create and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for shipping, receiving and storage services.
• Print incoming documents, pack shipments, and create shipping labels.
