Engineering Manager

Overview

Trevett Facilities Recruitment USA have partnered with a leading facilities management provider who is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to oversee engineering operations within a hard-services-led environment.

This role is responsible for directing engineering teams, vendors, and subcontractors while ensuring building systems operate safely, efficiently, and to client standards.

• Lead day-to-day engineering operations and assign work orders
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs
• Oversee HVAC, fire/life safety, plumbing, and building systems
• Supervise engineering staff and inspect completed work
• Coordinate scheduled maintenance to minimize business disruption
• Respond to emergencies and manage corrective actions
• Provide technical guidance, training, and leadership to teams

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade qualification
• 6+ years’ relevant engineering experience (supervisory experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of building systems and preventive maintenance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and organizational skills
