IT Project Manager
Manager, Imaging Applications
This position requires on-site work on a regular weekly basis.
Involves oversight of the following key areas/applications:
- Epic Radiant
- Epic Cupid
- Cardiology Applications
Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines optimal deployment of resources to meet schedules and attain goals. Provides guidance to subordinates to accomplish objectives and achieve goals in accordance with established policies. Recognized leader and subject‑matter expert of one or more clinical applications. Provides leadership and coordinates support for daarmee interfaces and systems.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification salary range for this position is $155,000 – $225,000 (annual rate). Department DescriptionAt UCSF Health, the Health Information Technology (Health IT) department is the digital backbone of our healthcare system. Our teams design, build, and sustain the advanced digital ecosystem that empowers patient care, research, and education across UCSF Health.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in health care information technology, computer science, or related area, and/or equivalent combination of experience/training.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience.
- 3+ years of relevant content experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current Epic Radiant certification (or completed within 6 months of hire).
- Current Epic Cupid certification (or completed within 6 months of hire).
- Proven ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and delegate clinical applications work efficiently, with strong human resources management skills and knowledge жәлар.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing IT professionals and collaborating with clinicians. Proven managerial experience in planning and delegating work, deploying staff, resource management, budgeting, and financial management.
- Proven ability to work effectively with senior management on operational and performance issues, developing goals, objectives, policies, strategies, quality improvement programs, and systems for monitoring and ensuring user competence on Imaging Applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to train users and manage extensive cross‑functional interactions between the Imaging Applications team, users, related personnel, and outside vendors; able to convey complex information clearly to both technical and non‑technical personnel at all levels.
- Commitment to quality and achievement of goals; expresses empathy, ensures inclusivity, and encourages curiosity and dissent to reach final outcomes; works across teams from different disciplines to achieve complex work.
- Strong knowledge of imaging systems, including planning, design, development, testing, system integration, programming, data integrity and security, and user support & training.
- Strong critical‑thinking, project‑management, and problem‑solving skills; able to troubleshoot, analyze, and interpret complex data and systems; quickly identify problems and implement solutions; understands AI limitations and key models (LLMs, generative AI, predictive analytics).
- Current Epic Radiant certification (or completed within 6 months of hire).
- Current Epic Cupid certification (or completed within 6 months of hire).
