Hi , we are hiring a Tax Director for a highly respected advisory and accounting firm with deep Bay Area roots and a growing national presence. This is a hybrid leadership role where you will mentor a seasoned team while taking the lead on complex tax planning for ultra‑high‑net‑worth individuals, private businesses, and even billionaire clients.

This opportunity comes with a clear partnership track within 6 - 10 years
. With three senior partners preparing for retirement
, you will be positioned to inherit some of the firm’s most valuable and long‑standing client relationships, including multigenerational families and privately held companies.

The firm offers fully integrated services across tax, estate, and business advisory, and is known for its technical depth, client loyalty, and strategic thinking.

• Lead advanced tax strategy and compliance for high net worth individuals, trusts, estates, and business entities
• Oversee and mentor a team of tax professionals and support staff
• Build and strengthen key client relationships
• Contribute to department‑wide improvements and long‑term planning

• 10+ years of public accounting experience
• Strong background in individual, trust, estate, and entity‑level taxation
• Leadership experience and a track record of developing talent
• CPA required

Experience with UHNW Clients (Ultra high net worth)

• Partnership track in two to three years
• Direct handoff of high‑value clients as partners retire
• Hybrid remote schedule across Bay Area office locations
