Professional couple in the San Francisco Marina district is seeking an energetic and experienced housekeeper to create and maintain a clean and orderly formal living space. The position can be two days at their Sonoma home and 1 day in SF, between Monday-Wednesday.

The successful candidate has good time management skills and is able to prioritize tasks based on the needs of the home and the weekly schedule. The ideal candidate communicates in a friendly, yet professional manner. This is a long-term permanent opportunity for a highly detailed, warm, and caring housekeeper who knows how to care for a high end home with valuable antiques.

3 or more years of experience working in a private home with verifiable references

Fluency in English

• Recent professional experience working in private homes
• Strong references from your prior work experience
• Valid California drivers license and a clean driving record
• Able to work legally in the United States
• Strong command of English language
  
  Ability to work with green cleaners
• Minimal make up and no perfume household
• Uniform: plain clothing. Slacks and plain button down shirt
• Experience working in a formal household
• Covid vaccination
• Preference for someone who can take public transportation as it's 2 hour parking zone

• Typical full charge housekeeping duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting and all bathroom/kitchen cleaning
• Laundry
• Some linen ironing (just the part of the sheets that fold over)
• Cleaning bedrooms and kitchen daily, rotating cleaning schedule for rest of the home
• Organization projects (such as creating weekly, monthly, and yearly cleaning projects and organizing closets, storage )
• Maintain household inventories of supplies
• Arranging flowers
• Sewing and Mending as needed
• Cold food prep (chopping vegetables)
• Comfortable taking small dog for a walk if dog daycare is closed
