At Sentral, we are building a team of people-first focused individuals who thrive on going above and beyond. Ideal candidates will exemplify a can-do attitude, a growth mindset, and an entrepreneurial drive. The Porter will perform day-to-day cleaning and light building maintenance. Overall duties will include removing debris, cleaning interior and exterior areas of the community, maintaining common area amenity spaces, cleaning vacant apartments and responding to all cleaning emergencies.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, dedicated, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously.

What You’ll Do:

• Complete minor repairs and building improvements
• Prepare office for the day by cleaning the storefront, office and lobby
• Clean all common amenity areas including bathrooms, fitness center, community lounge, rooftop deck, pool lounge
• Clean hallways, stairways, parking garage and elevators
• Place safety hazard signs in the building when applicable (e.g., wet paint, wet floor)
• Monitor bathrooms for cleanliness
• Respond to major spills or other cleaning crises
• Remove litter from all trash rooms
• Power wash as needed
• Perform other related duties as needed and assigned

• 6 – 12 months porter experience
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
• Must be reliable and professional
• Attention to detail
• Prepared to execute all duties and responsibilities in a safe and timely manner

The following activities reflect the expected work environment and physical demands. The candidate must be able to perform these with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Ascend/descend a ladder to complete maintenance tasks
• Position self to install equipment in fixed spaces and at awkward angles
• Work in indoor and outdoor spaces, with or without coverings
• Move throughout the property as needed
• Transport boxes and equipment weighing up to 20 pounds
• Communicate with others in the building
• Observe details in surroundings and on a screen
