Action Property Management, a premier management company, is seeking a full‑time Maintenance Technician for our One Mission Bay property in San Francisco.

The Maintenance Technician under the direction and supervision of the Chief Building Engineer is responsible for maintaining, correcting deficiencies, and/or making repairs to all "common areas" within the Association as described below. Continuous hands‑on training will always be provided.

Schedule:

Tuesday - Saturday; 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
+ On-Call Every 2 Weeks

Compensation: $34.00 Per Hour

Job Responsibilities
  • Patch and paint the common areas of the building.
  • Repair wallpaper in the common areas of the building.
  • Perform general cleaning of the engineering spaces.
  • Clean and paint non‑operating mechanical equipment, which has been shut down, locked out, and tagged by the Supervisor.
  • Provide light electrical duties, such as changing light bulbs.
  • Show willingness to learn to become a full‑time Building Engineer.
Emergency Response
  • Maintain preparedness for emergency responses to floods, fires, power outages, earthquakes, and other disasters.
  • Respond promptly to project emergencies.
Teamwork & Customer Service
  • Be a team player and contribute to the creation of an enjoyable, productive, and safe work environment.
  • Assist team members with tasks not strictly related to this job description.
  • Maintain customer service standards as set by the Hospitality Department and General Manager.
  • Display high morale, integrity, loyalty, and professionalism at all times.
  • Be available for overtime in special circumstances to complete projects or meet deadlines.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of Maintenance experience, preferably in hospitality or property management.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a pre‑employment background check and drug screening.
  • Hands on experience or coursework in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting, Drywall is highly desired.
