Bledsoe, Diestel, Treppa & Crane LLP is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Secretary to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our attorneys and ensuring the smooth handling of litigation matters. We are looking for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal correspondence, contracts, pleadings, and filings.
- Filing legal documents with state and federal courts (both electronically and in person, as required).
- Maintaining case files, client records, and internal document management systems.
- Supporting attorneys and paralegals with day-to-day administrative tasks.
- General knowledge normally acquired through completion of high school or equivalent.
- 3+ years’ on-the job experience, preferably in the professional services industry.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete them under time constraints.
- Excellent proofreading skills in order to review and edit legal correspondence and legal case documents; good understanding of basic mathematical concepts.
- Ability to change and adapt to current and future responsibilities and circumstances.
- Ability to enhance department and organization reputation by creating and sharing new and innovative ideas and concepts and exploring opportunities to add value.
💼 Salary Range: $65,000 – $90,000 (commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications).
