Corporate Counsel - Commercial San Francisco, CA

Overview

Sigma is hiring a Corporate Counsel, Commercial to support the sales and procurement teams by drafting, negotiating, and managing technology contracts. The role reports to Sigma’s General Counsel and is located in San Francisco, CA.

• Draft and negotiate technology agreements including subscription contracts, data processing, order forms, NDAs, alliance agreements, cloud‐infrastructure contracts (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) and consulting/independent‑service agreements.
• Conduct legal and regulatory due diligence for international technology agreements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure contracts align with internal policies and obtain necessary approvals.
• Provide legal support for existing contracts and manage dispute resolution or potential disputes.
• Deliver practical legal and business advice to internal stakeholders.

• JD from an accredited law school, admitted to practice in California, and membership in at least one state bar.
• Minimum 7 years relevant experience, preferably in a fast‑paced SaaS or enterprise software company.
• Strong understanding of emerging technologies and ability to learn quickly.
• Excellent organizational, project‑management, and communication skills.
• Experience with CLM tools is preferred.

In‑person role based in San Francisco, CA. Employees are expected to work in the office in all Sigma locations.

Base salary range: $200,000–$235,000 annually. Eligible for stock options and a comprehensive benefits package.
