Our AmLaw 100 client is adding a junior to midlevel transactional tax associate in the Bay Area (SF or Menlo Park). This is a true deal tax seat tied into market-moving corporate work, with meaningful reps and real runway.
Role summary
Advise on tax aspects of M&A and other corporate transactions
Structure and negotiate tax provisions alongside corporate, PE, and finance teams
Work directly with a tight Bay Area tax bench and collaborate across offices on national and cross-border matters
Candidate profile
1+ year of law firm experience focused on transaction tax, with significant M&A exposure
Comfortable drafting and negotiating deal documents and tax deliverables
Sharp issue-spotter who can translate tax into practical deal guidance
