This role offers the opportunity to advise on complex acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and private equity matters for leading clients. Associates will take ownership of diligence work streams, draft key agreements, and contribute to all phases of the transaction process.

Description
  • Provide legal counsel on mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and transaction structuring.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal agreements and contracts.
  • Collaborate with clients to address legal and regulatory challenges.
  • Support cross-border transactions and coordinate with international teams.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting mergers and acquisitions.
  • Advise on risk management and compliance during transactions.
  • Work closely with other legal departments and external counsel as needed.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior associates within the department.

Profile

A successful candidate should have:

  • Strong academic background in law with a focus on corporate or transactional law.
  • Proven knowledge of mergers and acquisitions processes and regulations.
  • Exceptional negotiation and drafting skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
  • Experience working within the professional services industry is a plus.
Job Offer
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $225,000 to $435,000, depending on class year.
