Our client’s Corporate team provides sophisticated and strategic legal counsel to public and private entities at every stage of the business cycle. From start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, their attorneys deliver practical, business-minded solutions across a full spectrum of corporate matters — including governance, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, securities, and project finance. The firm is seeking a Corporate Partner to join their growing San Francisco office, bringing leadership, deep industry experience, and a client-first mindset to their dynamic national practice.
Responsibilities- Lead and expand client relationships with public and private companies across diverse industries.
- Advise on complex corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity investments, and public offerings.
- Provide strategic counsel on corporate governance, compliance, and ethics programs.
- Collaborate with cross-practice teams — including tax, IP, real estate, environmental, antitrust, and litigation — to deliver comprehensive client service.
- Participate in business development initiatives and thought leadership opportunities within the San Francisco market and beyond.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California Bar (or eligibility to waive in).
- Extensive experience handling sophisticated corporate transactions, ideally in an AmLaw 100 or comparable firm.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex client relationships and lead transaction teams.
- Proven success in business development and client origination.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
