Position: San Francisco – Mid-Level Employment Litigation Associate

Overview

The San Francisco office of Fisher Phillips is seeking associates with 4-6 years of employment litigation experience to join its sophisticated labor and employment practice. This role offers the opportunity to manage cases from start to finish while working on complex wage and hour claims and employment discrimination and harassment matters, including California wage-hour class action claims and PAGA cases.

Responsibilities
  • Draft and respond to discovery and initial pleadings.
  • Prepare and argue motions.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Manage cases from start to finish, including complex wage-and-hour claims and employment discrimination/harassment matters.
  • Work on California wage-hour class action claims and PAGA cases.
  • Work effectively under tight deadlines and coordinate multiple projects.
Qualifications
  • Admitted to practice in California.
  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • 4-6 years of employment litigation experience.
  • Excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills.
  • Ability to thrive both independently and in a team environment, with strong project management skills.

The yearly salary range for this position is $230,000 – $260,000. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
