Key Responsibilities

• Manage all stages of litigation, including written discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation

• Represent clients in court and administrative proceedings, including specialized forums

• Take ownership of case strategy and execution

• Conduct investigations and maintain ongoing communication with clients

• Work on impactful matters involving state and federal constitutional, statutory, and administrative law

• Handle appeals and complex legal issues affecting public agencies and nonprofit organizations

Qualifications

• 4–10 years of litigation experience, including discovery, motions, depositions, and trial-related work

• JD from Accredited Law School

• Barred & in Good Standing in California

• Strong academic background and demonstrated ability to address complex legal questions

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Experience in public-sector law, employment law, or appellate work is a plus

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

• Commitment to work that supports public service, good governance, or community impact
